Spring Woods: Styled Wedding Shoot

Here are the images from our recent styled shoot.  I am very proud of these images as the shoot was on April 1st and I don’t know if you remember the weather that day, but it really seemed to be an April fool’s joke.  We faced hail, freezing temperatures and lots of rain but with all that being said, the images turned out fantastic.  So for all the brides out there, if you book a professional photographer they should be able to make lemonade out of the lemons that the weather throws at them.  So here’s to some lemonade.

Mother’s Day Makeover- Before and After

The number one response I get all the time when women view images I take are wow, she is sooo beautiful, I don’t think I could look like that.  She is just a natural beauty.  This has happened time and time again, so I wanted to start showing more of the process, that way you are able to see that the women I photograph are everyday women.  Women that wear sweats around the house and who don’t walk around looking super fab all the time.  Women that are mothers like one of the women below, who has an infant and sleep is definitely a luxury for her right now.  Also women like another one of the women below who is the mother of  three, taking care of everyone but hardly finding the time for herself.  Like a mom whose daughters no longer live at home and would love that quality girl time that so eludes you when your kids have their own family.  Why not take a day to pause, laugh and catch up with your mom, sister or girlfriend and capture some beautiful memories at the same time.

New business cards

I have been prepping all the final stuff for our Bridal Event at Botany Floral Studio in a few weeks, and realized my business cards needed updating and decided to go with moo again for our cards.  When I saw their new luxe line, I knew that it would fit my brand perfectly.  The design of the cards drove me a little crazy as I am not a designer but with lots of help from the hubby we managed to work it out and I love our new cards.
