Beauty Inside and Out Contest!: Toronto Portrait Photographer

Rules:

Beautiful Images Photography  contest entry period begins at 2:00 PM Eastern Standard Time on July 3rd, 2012 and ends at 12:00 pm Eastern Standard Time on August 30, 2012.   Entrants will submit a photo of themselves and a written submission on why they are beautiful inside and out to our Beautiful Images Facebook Page. Entrants can email they photo and written submission if having trouble posting themselves to info@beautifulimages.ca.   Entrants can invite their friends and families to vote via our facebook fanpage for their photo between 2:00 pM EST July 3rd,  2012 and ending 12:00 PM EST on August 30, 2012  (Voting Period).   The Contest is sponsored by Beautiful Images Photography  9 Pendrill Way Ajax ON L1Z 0K9.

Beauty products provided by Blended Beauty, Facial Waxing or Threading provided by Honey Fig. 

Who is Eligibile?

This Contest is open to any legal resident of the Greater Toronto Area, entrant must be 18 years or older as of date of entry.  Employees of the contest Sponsor, Beautiful Images Photography; any promotional companies or advertising agencies participating in the Contest and employees of their respective subsidiaries and affiliates; any persons involved in the creation, development, or implementation of this Contest; and any other persons or entities directly associated with this Contest and any members of their immediate families or households are ineligible to participate.  Entrants must enter via the Beautiful Images Photography Facebook Fanpage as of date of entry to be eligible.  Entries for the Contest must be received prior to the expiration of the Contest Entry Period. This Contest is subject to all federal, provincial and local laws and regulations. By submitting an entry form, entrants agree to abide by these Official Rules and Regulations and all applicable federal, provincial and local laws and regulations that govern contest, are agreeing to have their images appear in print and/or online media before, during, and after the Contest.  The Contest Grand Prize Winner must be able to be present for a photo shoot in Ajax, Ontario on or around September, 2012.  Transportation and accommodations will not be provided.

 

Odds/Winner: 

The potential winner of the Contest will be selected by their peers via voting application on the Beautiful Images Photography Facebook fanpage, during the Voting Period.   The Grand Prize winner will be notified via email and/or phone  by August 6th, 2012  using the contact information provided on the winner’s entry form. Each entrant is responsible for the accuracy of the information included in his/her entry.  The Grand Prize  shall be final and conclusive. The odds of winning the Grand Prize will be determined by the actual number of eligible entries received and number of votes received. Potential Grand Prize winner(s) will be required to sign and return an Affidavit of Eligibility, Liability Release, and where legal, a Publicity Release within ten (10) days of notification attempt. Noncompliance within this time period will result in disqualification and forfeiture of the Grand Prize, and Sponsor may, in its sole discretion, award the Grand Prize to an alternate winner determined at random from all eligible entries received. If Grand Prize notification is returned as non-deliverable, potential winner will be disqualified and the Grand Prize forfeited, and Sponsor may, in its sole discretion, award the Grand Prize to an alternate winner determined at random from all eligible entries received. One additional winner will be awarded Blended Beauty products and will be selected based on number of votes.  One additional winner will be awarded  a single facial threading or waxing by Honey Fig and will be selected based on number of votes.  The name of the winner of the Contest will be available after September 3rd, 2012 at which time it will be posted on the Beautiful Images Blog and the Beautiful Images Photography Facebook Page.

PRIZES:

Grand Prize (1): Based on most number of votes

• Beauty & Style photoshoot with make-up application and hair styling by Kate Easterbrook.
• PLEASE NOTE: TRANSPORTATION AND ACCOMMODATIONs ARE NOT INCLUDED AND ARE THE RESPONSIBILITY OF GRAND PRIZE WINNER.
• Photoshoot will take place on or around September, 2012 in the Ajax Ontario                                     Beautiful Images Photoshoot retail value $675.00

Additional Prizes: Based on number of votes

       1 semi finalists will be awarded

         Blended Beauty Products retail value $60.00

       1 semi finalists will be awarded

        Honey Fig Facial Waxing or Threading retail value $30.00

 

Restrictions:

The Grand Prize and Additional Prize items included therein are not transferable or assignable, or redeemable for cash or any other consideration, and no substitutions will be allowed except by Sponsor, which reserves the right to substitute prizes of equal or greater value or nature if advertised prize is not available. Grand Prize winner is responsible for compliance with all applicable federal, provincial and/or local laws and regulations. Grand Prize winner will be notified using the entry material provided and is responsible for transportation and accommodations to the photoshoot location.

Additional Notes:

Any contestants deemed to be involved in fraudulent activity, including  opening false Facebook accounts to increase votes, and/or Facebook spam services to increase votes will be disqualified.  

Warnings: 

Any attempt by any person to deliberately damage any web site or undermine legitimate operation of the Contest may constitute a violation of criminal and civil laws, and should such an attempt be made, Sponsor reserves the right to seek damages from and/or to prosecute any such person to the fullest extent permitted by law. Any such tampering also will result in ineligibility to win the Grand Prize in the Contest.

 

Sponsor is in no way liable for any damage, loss, or injury resulting from computer malfunctions, misdirected or incomplete entries, or acceptance and use of the Grand Prize. The winner assumes liability for injuries caused or claimed to be caused by participation in the Contest or the use or misuse of the Grand Prize. Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to cancel, modify or suspend the Contest should virus, bugs, or other causes beyond the control of Sponsor corrupt the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper play of the Sweepstakes and award the Grand Prize from all eligible entries received prior to cancellation or suspension.

By entering this Contest, each entrant hereby voluntarily and irrevocably releases, holds harmless and agrees not to institute any claim against Sponsor, Beautiful Images Photography,  and the other prize providers named above, and/or any of their respective affiliates, and their respective officers, directors, shareholders, employees and agents from any losses, damages, or expenses from any and all injuries, losses or damages of any kind (including without limitation, personal injury, death and/or property loss) arising from or in connection with, either directly or indirectly, (1) the awarding, acceptance, receipt, possession, use and/or misuse of the prize awarded herein; and/or (2) participation in the Contest or any prize related activities.

Under no circumstances will any entrant be permitted to obtain awards for, and each entrant hereby waives all rights to claim, punitive, incidental or consequential damages, or any other damages, including attorneys’ fees, and entrant further waives all rights to have damages multiplied or increased.

By accepting the Grand Prize, the winner grants Sponsor permission to use his or her name and likeness for advertising and promotional purposes without any additional compensation. By entering the Contest, entrants shall be deemed to have agreed to have their entry information made available to the Sponsor. The Contest is subject to these Official Rules. By entering the Contest, entrants agree that Beautiful Images Photography  and their respective affiliates and subsidiaries may send you promotions and special offers they feel may be of interest to you. By entering the Contest, entrants and the winner agree to waive any right to claim any ambiguity, inequity or error in the Official Rules of the Contest, and/or of the Contest itself, and agree to be bound by these Official Rules and by all decisions of, and interpretations of these Official Rules by, the Sponsor, which in all respects shall be final and binding.
