I love every opportunity I get to pick up my camera and capture a family but it is always special when friends trust me enough to capture their family.  Especially in this case; I  only get to see this family about once every four years when they visit Toronto.  It was lots of fun to see them again and capture how much their little girl, Z has changed.  I had such a fun time on this session, thanks for the laughter and the opportunity to capture these moments in your life.

Just wanted to share a preview from a  recent family portrait session.  I can’t wait to share all the images from this shoot because it was such a fun and beautiful shoot at Frenchman’s Bay in Pickering.  Many more coming soon.

I am so in love with this photograph, I even got a little misty eyed.  I photograph families because it gives me so much more than I can ever give back.  It gives me a window into love, shows  how fierce real love is and reminds me everyday what is important.

A few weeks ago I had the pleasure of capturing some precious moments of the Ramcharitar family.  Their little girl Kaiya is the most amazingly calm baby I have ever worked with.  I asked Donna if she was doing yoga throughout her pregnancy because little Kaiya must be a yogi… she just never cries.  Turn on some music and Kaiya moves to the music like I have never seen she almost danced out of my arms and she is only six months old.

At the end of the day I could really see why Kaiya is such a calm baby.  It is due to the laughter, love and warmth that Donna and Michael surround her with.  It was such a pleasure spending the day with you guys and I look forward to seeing Kaiya grow and blossom.
