This family has become like family and I am always honoured that they continue to choose me to capture their family story.  I met Jenna at the beginning of 2010 and we had our first session on the coldest day of the year so this year it was definitely nice to have their family session at Cherry Beach.

Since I have met Jenna she has continued to inspire me because she is a woman who is following her dreams.  Sometimes it is easy to let your passion fall by the way side but Jenna pushes me just by being herself to keep following my dreams.  She is a single mom, certified personal trainer, Bowen instructor, Reiki practitioner and the list goes on as she just completed a new degree.   Even with all that going on; the things that matters most in her life are her children.  When Jenna talks about Erick and Olivia she lights up and the love that she feels for them is evident in everything she does.  I am definitely going to miss these guys as life takes them on a new journey to Vancouver and I will hopefully make it out there next year for our family session.

There were so many images from this session that I loved but I just could not share them all.

Faves about this session: Love the red glasses, wind blown hair, the guitar and that Lady the dog came along too. :)

Ajax Family Photographer: Love and Laughter.

A few Sundays ago I had a family session that was filled with laughter, love, and books.  We captured some tender moments, the love and laughter that fills this home is like a warm embrace that you never want to let go of.   I hope you enjoy the pictures below and I look forward to capturing this family again for a beach session when it gets warmer.

One of my most common frequently asked questions is “what should I wear?”   So I decided that each season I would give some different ideas and inspiration on what to wear to your photography session. With Winter sessions the most important thing is layers.  Layers allow you to add colours and versatility to your family portraits.

The only rule I feel each family should follow is to let each person’s personality be reflected in their clothing choices.

All images below are from the Gap.  If you like the styles below but want a more budget friendly option check out the JOE fall look book.
