I am excited to share some of my favourite images from Richelle and Hassan’s wedding that took place at the Westin Harbour Castle in Toronto.  Richelle is the epitome of creativity and this wedding was truly a DIY wedding.  I personally believe those are the best kind of weddings.  Richelle made sure no detail was left out; she handled everything from beginning to end.  Richelle grew her centerpieces; she made purses and custom hair pieces for her and her bridesmaids.  Richelle also made the flowers that adorned the groom and groomsmen lapels and last but not least she made her own veil.  Whew!  I think she must be superwoman.

Richelle and Hassan’s wedding day was truly filled with love, a love that shines in all the details and is visible when you look at the way they look at each other.  The Speeches made the guests laugh and cry and even made me a little teary eyed.  Finally, the dj rocked the house and everyone danced well into the night to sweet soca vibes.

It was truly my honour to be a part of your lives for such a special day.

I do declare my blogging hiatus officially over, in other words my butt has been slacking on blogging and I am back in the swing of things.  Which  brings  me to today’s post, here are my remaining favourites from Richelle and Hassan’s engagement session that took place at Rosetta McClain Gardens in Scarborough.  Richelle and Hassan have a love that is quite evident when you look at the photos below.  They are truly in tune with one another and their laughter and love made this session extra special.  Richelle and Hassan met while working at a restaurant, at first impression he thought she was “so quiet” and she thought… “he walked in like he owned the place.”  However to their suprise, they realised that they had a lot in common and their friendship slowly blossomed into something beautiful.

I know their wedding day in July will be an amazing day and I am thankful to them for allowing me to be apart of it.
